Walking for charity app trundl newsletter January 2026

Being fit and active doesn't have to be a pain

It can feel a bit overwhelming when every new year starts with a bombardment of advice and pressure to become a new you.

Don't worry, we're not here to increase the noise. Rather, we want to mention that as you are a member, you already hold a friendly, but effective, health tool in trundl.

If you haven't explored this before, in the 'Me' section of the app you can set your own exercise goals by way of number, time and length of trundls - be those walks, runs, hikes or strolls. These can then be reviewed in the weekly/monthly tracker.

Goals are between you and your app; we don't see them and no one is going to make you feel bad if you don't reach them sometimes. And if you forget to record your activity, don't forget that there's a 'save my lost trundl' feature too.

Our secret sauce is, of course, that you're not only helping yourself when you trundl, but you're also helping a range of UK charities without having to donate or do any fundraising. As a lovely member put it recently, 'trundling turns miles into money'.

We love hearing how you're getting on with trundl, so do share your trundl tales and we'd be proud to feature them.

Here's to fit and happy trundling in Feb  💚
Walking for charity app trundl will be raising funds for Living Streets in February 2026

Help make walking easy

We're so pleased to announce a lovely new guest charity trundl Feb 13th -March 2nd for Living Streets. Having started life in 1929 as 'The Pedestrian's Association', they have been pivotal in improving street safety and supporting thriving  local communities. Big thanks to trundl company members Inspire accountancy practice for sponsoring this trundl and increasing the donation target that we will all walk for!

And feel inspired by this trundl tale

We were thrilled when Delsha and her partner Joe shared their tale of how MOVE Against Cancer's monthly 5K Your Way meetings and the trundl app helped them get back into the exercise habit after Joe faced down an aggressive brain cancer.

It's a positive read we promise and shows how building up from the shortest walks can change your health.
